Art Cataloguer Internship

The Antonio Raimo Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia is hiring a paid intern to assist cataloguing and researching their collection. Current students and graduates are able to apply.

CBC Spouses Visual Arts Scholarship

The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation is awarding a $3,000 scholarship for full-time African American or Black students pursuing a degree in the visual arts. The deadline to apply is April 14th.

Gibbes Museum of Art Head Preparator

The Gibbes Museum in Charleston, SC is hiring a full-time preparator with a bachelor's degree in studio art, museum studies, or a related field (i.e., art history). 2 years preparations or art handling experience are required.

This Thursday, March 16th, visit the Florence County Museum for a free docent-led tour of the Florence County Museum. Exhibits include art and poetry about Francis Marion.

Monday, March 20th, Dr. Baltes will host a talk at the Wall Lowcountry Center Auditorium in Brookgreen Gardens, examining the modern adaptations of Greek Mythology at Brookgreen. Attendance is free with garden admission.

The SC Arts Commission recently found that South Carolina's arts sector has an estimated $14.1 billion dollar impact on the state's economy, totaling 123,550 jobs and 360.2 million in tax revenue. This marks a 45% increase from the 2018 report.
